Dahlia on Lake Wendouree brings pale, softly curved petals together with bare branches and their reflections on the lake. Cream, blush and lilac tones mingle with muted blue-green and warm amber, creating a layered photographic art print with a quiet, dreamlike feel.
Kathy Muhlhan’s overlay photograph balances the delicate folds of the dahlia with the fine lines of the lakeside trees. Across the image, flower and landscape seem to dissolve into one another, revealing reflected branches, still water and glimpses of the distant shore.
Display it in a bedroom, living space or favourite reading corner for a gentle botanical palette and an evocative view of Ballarat’s Lake Wendouree.
